OIT XCountry Heads to CCC Championships Saturday

LA GRANDE, Ore. -  This Saturday the Oregon Tech Harriers travel to La Grande for the Cascade Collegiate Conference Cross Country Championships.  The Owls go into the Championships after a very good showing two weeks ago, that moved both teams up in the national polls.  The men are currently rated No. 24 nationally and No. 5 in the conference standings. While the women are No. 7 Nationally and No. 2 in conference ratings after their one-point loss to conference rival College of Idaho at William Jessup on October 21st.

Hustlin' Owls Take Down Eastern Oregon 3-1

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.-  The Hustlin' Owls walked away victorious, with their second win of the weekend, after putting 3 goals in on the Mountaineers in a 3-1 home win. Oregon Tech picks up 6 points on the weekend, taking them to 12 points overall in the CCC standings and a record of 4-4, as they prepare to head to Washington next weekend. The loss sees Eastern Oregon drop to 2-4-1 in CCC play and 5-4-2 overall.
 
Oregon Tech jumped out to an early lead, getting on the scoresheet in the 2nd minute of the contest. Forward, Trinidad Flores, found himself inside the EOU 18 yard box surrounded by defenders. Midfielder, Brennan Gazdik, make a run towards the back post, where Flores was able to find him with a little flick pass, as Gazdik poked the ball into the goal taking the game to 1-0 for Tech.
