The Owls go into the Championships after a very good showing two weeks ago, that moved both teams up in the national polls. Oregon Tech picks up 6 points on the weekend, taking them to 12 points overall in the CCC standings and a record of 4-4, as they prepare to head to Washington next weekend. The loss sees Eastern Oregon drop to 2-4-1 in CCC play and 5-4-2 overall.
Oregon Tech jumped out to an early lead, getting on the scoresheet in the 2nd minute of the contest. Forward, Trinidad Flores, found himself inside the EOU 18 yard box surrounded by defenders. Midfielder, Brennan Gazdik, make a run towards the back post, where Flores was able to find him with a little flick pass, as Gazdik poked the ball into the goal taking the game to 1-0 for Tech.
