KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech scored twice in each half on the way to a 4-0 shutout win over visiting Carroll College. The win for the Owls was the first ever over the Saints. With the win the Oregon Tech men have now clinched a spot in the 2017 Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships in Springfield, Oregon, which begin on November 3. Tech improves to 7-7-1 on the year and 6-5-1 in the Cascade Conference, Carroll falls to 5-7 in CCC play and 7-8 on the year.

Bloemzaad Scores Hat-Trick on Senior Day for Owls

Klamath Falls, Ore. – The Oregon Tech men's soccer team finished the regular season action at home with 4-1 win over the University of Providence Argos, strengthening their position in the CCC tournament. 

The contest started with good back and forth play from both teams for the first 20 minutes of the contest. The Argos were the first to find the back of the net with a goal from forward Christoffer Bisbo in the 24th minute. Oregon Tech responded 11 minutes later, as junior forward Lodewijk Bloemzaad (Pictured) would redirect a cross from Benito Torres-Mata. 3 minutes later, Bloemzaad would find himself in another scoring position, this time redirecting a cross from outside back Devin Lutz, giving Bloemzaad a brace heading into the half-time break.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Oregon Tech Owls Women's Soccer team (8-6-0 overall, 6-3-0 CCC) punched their ticket to the Cascade Conference Tournament with a 1-0 shutout of the Southern Oregon Raiders on a wet and cold afternoon at the Oregon Tech Soccer Field.
 
In the 51st minute, Junior Cassidy Gosvener (Vacaville, CA) took advantage of some space at the top of the penalty area and finished a low shot for her 4th Game Winning goal of the 2017 season.  The Owl defense was then able to stay strong and finish the game out to earn Senior Goalkeeper Megan Green (Albany, OR) her 5th Shutout of the season.

Oregon Tech Soccer Set to Host Southern Oregon Saturday

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. -  The Oregon Tech men's and women's soccer teams are coming into the final two weekends of the 2017 season as both are looking at a playoff run.
 
The playoff push starts Saturday as both teams host Southern Oregon University on the OIT Soccer Pitch with the women starting at 12:00 pm followed by the men at 2:00 pm.
 
The Oregon Tech men, who made an appearance in the CCC tournament for the first time in program history in 2016 as the 8th seed, are currently sitting at 5-4-1 in conference play, good enough to be tied at 4th place, with three games to go in regular season action.  The CCC postseason will include the top 8 teams in the conference.

OLYMPIA, Wash.-  Visiting Oregon Tech scored a goal in each half Friday to defeat The Evergreen State College 2-0 in a Cascade Collegiate Conference women's soccer match played at Geoduck Pitch.
 
The Owls (7-5-0 overall, 5-2-0 CCC) moved into second place in the conference standings after getting goals from Hailey Satyna in the 40th minute and Ellie Querciain the 83rd minute. The Oregon Tech defense limited the Geoducks to just four shots as Megan Green recorded the shutout in goal.

Owls and Geoducks Play to 1-1 Tie

OLYMPIA, Wash. – Evergreen State scored the match-tying goal with less than three minutes remaining in regulation as Geoducks rallied to earn a 1-1 double overtime tie with the visiting Oregon Tech Owls in a Cascade Collegiate Conference men's soccer match played Friday at Geoduck Pitch. 

The Evergreen State (5-3-3 overall, 4-2-2 CCC) played a lot of defense through the first two-thirds of the match as the Owls (5-6-1, 4-4-1) built a 20-7 shot advantage through the first 90 minutes. 

After a scoreless first period, Oregon Tech took the lead just 16 seconds into the second half onJoey Driessen's penalty kick after an Evergreen turnover and foul in the penalty box.

Eastern Oregon Snaps Lady Owls Four Game Win Streak

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Lady Owls battled against the Cascade Conference's top team the Eastern Oregon Mountaineers, coming out on the tough end of a 2-0 result Saturday afternoon at the Oregon Tech Soccer Field as EOU remains perfect in CCC play at 6-0 and 7-2-1 overall.
 
Following a tightly contested first half that saw limited looks on frame, the Mountaineers broke through in the 69th minute with a goal by Nan Kiebert. As the Owls pressed forward EOU was able to pick up the insurance goal in the 79th minute by Taylor Boyer and then held onto their lead for the win.

Hustlin' Owls Take Down Eastern Oregon 3-1

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore.-  The Hustlin' Owls walked away victorious, with their second win of the weekend, after putting 3 goals in on the Mountaineers in a 3-1 home win. Oregon Tech picks up 6 points on the weekend, taking them to 12 points overall in the CCC standings and a record of 4-4, as they prepare to head to Washington next weekend. The loss sees Eastern Oregon drop to 2-4-1 in CCC play and 5-4-2 overall.
 
Oregon Tech jumped out to an early lead, getting on the scoresheet in the 2nd minute of the contest. Forward, Trinidad Flores, found himself inside the EOU 18 yard box surrounded by defenders. Midfielder, Brennan Gazdik, make a run towards the back post, where Flores was able to find him with a little flick pass, as Gazdik poked the ball into the goal taking the game to 1-0 for Tech.
