Winter Weather Advisory: Until 11/3 3:30 AM

Snow levels will drop to between 4000 and 4500 feet Thursday night into Friday morning. Expect 8-12 inches of snow over the Cascades near Crater Lake with 6-8 inches as far south as Lake of the Woods and perhaps upper portions of Mt. Ashland ski road.

With cold air arriving, rain will change to snow east of the Cascades (primarily north of Highway 140). A few inches of snow are possible along highway 97 north of Chiloquin, up around Chemult.

A system will move into the region Thursday. This front will stall over the region and move slowly to the southeast through Saturday morning. Snow levels will lower through the day, lowering to the Cascade passes late Thursday afternoon, and continue to lower to around 3000 feet by Saturday morning.
