KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The Oregon Tech American Association of University Professors states that the union will go on strike Monday, April 26 at 6:00 AM, if no agreement is reached between the union and administration.

“The strike will not be delayed by the senior administration’s recent petition of the labor board and Oregon Tech AAUP will be seeking dismissal of the petition,” said Oregon Tech AAUP in a press release.

“We're confident in our ability to conduct a lawful strike. If no tentative agreement is reached, the strike will begin Monday as planned,” said Kari Lundgren, Oregon Tech AAUP spokesperson and associate professor in the Communication Department at Oregon Tech.

Negotiations are expected to continue, even during a strike.
