Where is the $10.3M for Klamath Irrigators? [VIDEO]

[VIDEO] Senator Merkley presses Secretary of the Interior Zinke about money for Klamath Basin Irrigators in a Senate Appropriations Committee Meeting held May 10, 2018.

"We are going through the legal part of the language." says Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke. "We are looking at it because an objection was brought up on that language which might not give us the latitude to do it. So we are looking at fixes 'cause the Interior made a commitment to do it."

An objector in Sacramento said that the current language would not allow for pumping under this funding allocation. Even though the US Department of Interior, Senator Ron Wyden, Senator Jeff Merkley an Representative Greg Walden worked tirelessly to get the pumping language properly included.
