Artists rendering of the potential Dr. Stephanie Van Dyke Downtown Park.

The crowdfunding site Go Fund Me has a new opportunity for Klamath Falls - the Dr. Stephanie Van Dyke Downtown Park.

Organized by Lauren Michael Jespersen, Director of the Sky Lakes Foundation the page is raising funds raised to go directly toward the Sky Lakes Medical Center Foundation.

According to the page: Every dollar raised will be used to help fund the construction of the park. Many local businesses and community partners will be matching funds raised on the Go Fund Me page.

Dr. Van Dyke was the co-founder and first Medical Director of the Sky Lakes Wellness Center and was lost to the community in a tragic sledding accident. A full bio on Dr. VanDyke can be found on the Go Fund Me page.

The donation goal of the campaign is $200,000.
