KANSAS CITY, Mo. –Oregon Tech's Mitchell Fink has been named a Third-Team NAIA Division II All-American for the 2017-18 season, announced Wednesday by the national office.

Earlier this year, Fink was named first-team all-conference and Co-Player of the Year after leading Oregon Tech to a 14-6 Cascade conference mark.

"What a well-deserved honor for Mitch. Mitchell Fink puts in an enormous amount of time working on his game and it's great to see him get rewarded for that," said Oregon Tech Head Coach Justin Parnell. "Mitch is as fierce of a competitor as I've coached and anyone who has competed against him knows that."

Fink led Oregon Tech to a 22-11 overall record as he averaged 19.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and a Cascade Conference leading 7.4 assists per game. In his first two years at OIT, Fink has already amassed 1,024 points which puts him at 30th on Tech's All-Time list for career points.  His 42 points against Southern Oregon earlier this this year shattered his previous career high of 34 points. Fink also has 404 career assists in just two years at OIT.
