Leadership Klamath Class of 2020 Announced

Leadership Klamath, a Klamath County Chamber of Commerce program, presented in part by Rudius Quest Coaching, for emerging and existing leaders in the Klamath Basin, is pleased to announce the Leadership Klamath Class of 2020. The 29 individuals will be the 31st graduating class since the program was founded in 1989.

“The Class of 2020 will be the largest class since the program was started. Our Leadership Klamath program continues to attract a qualified pool of applicants each year,” says Klamath County Chamber Executive Director Heather Tramp. “The participation of this year’s class will have a lasting impact on our region,” continued Tramp.

This group will engage in a 10-month curriculum including monthly class day sessions, personal development coaching, a class project, and a variety of enrichment activities around the area. Since its inception, Leadership Klamath has celebrated more than 400 graduates.

About Leadership Klamath
Leadership Klamath is an educational program offered through the Klamath County Chamber. The 10-month program provides emerging and existing leaders in the Klamath Basin area with an opportunity to enhance their civic knowledge and network. For over 30 years, Leadership Klamath has helped participants better understand the local community, while building relationships with the region’s current and future leaders.

Leadership Klamath was developed by the Chamber in response to the ongoing need for leadership in all areas of public service. For participants, the program creates a comprehensive and objective awareness of the Klamath community in action.  The program consists of ten one-day sessions over the course of a ten month period. Each meeting encompasses a specific topic or industry such as: tourism, emergency services, education, legal systems and economic development.

Since its inception, more than 425 people have graduated from this distinguished and popular program.

Leadership Klamath identifies and motivates emerging leaders and develops their potential for community leadership by exposing them to the realities, opportunities and challenges facing of our area. The program challenges class participants to become more involved in the decision-making process of Klamath County in political, social and business arenas.
