KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Freshman Tayah Ranney (Pictured) scored a career high 14 points leading Oregon Tech (4-1) to a 59-45 win over William Jessup (4-3) in game 3 of the Lithia Toyota Classic at Danny Miles Court.

The win for the Owls revenged an earlier 69-58 loss to the Warriors to open up the season in California.

Oregon Tech never trailed in the game and took its largest lead 57-35 on an Amanda Constant lay-up with 3:55 to play.

OIT led 12-9 at the end of the first period as both teams struggled to find much offense.

Tech increased that lead to 23-16 at the half as the Owls defense only allowed 7 Warrior points.

The Lady Owls owned the third stanza out-scoring the Warriors 16-6 increasing their lead to 39-24.

The fourth quarter was very fast pasted as William Jessup out-paced the Owls 21-20 but it wasn't enough as OIT won 59-45.

After Ranney, Constant had 12 points with Nohea Waiwaiole and Bailey Nelson each adding 9 points in the win.

Oregon Tech will take on Simpson University Saturday night at 5:30 pm with William Jessup taking on Southern Oregon University Saturday at 1:00 PM on Day 2 of the Lithia Toyota Classic.
