Lady Owls Move up One Spot to No. 22 in NAIA Softball Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Oregon Tech (24-9) moved up two spots to the No. 22 position in the third regular edition of the 2018 NAIA Softball Coaches' Poll, announced by the national office Tuesday. The Hustlin' Owls have won five out of their last seven heading into this weekend's big four game series at now No.9 Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon.

Georgia Gwinnett is voted as the unanimous Ranked No. 1 for the third-straight poll, the Grizzlies collected all 19 first-place votes for the first time in school history.
 
No. 2 Marian stands 23-1 and has now been ranked in the top 10 in each of the last 12 polls dating back to the end of the 2016 season.
 
No. 8 Vanguard (Calif.) is the first NAIA team to reach the 40-win threshold. The Lions (41-6) did that on April 7 against San Diego Christian (Calif.).
 
Southern Oregon (29-9) moved up from 14 to a tie for 9th in this week's Top 25. Corban University (23-8) is the only other CCC team to be ranked, the Warriors fell from No. 7 down to No. 13.
