SALEM, Ore. - Cassidy Gosvener scored a goal late in regulation to tie the game, and then she scored again in overtime to lift the Oregon Tech women's soccer to a 2-1 Cascade Conference win over Corban Friday afternoon at the CFC Soccer Complex.

After a scoreless first half, Emma Kosmala took a through ball from Annouscka Kordom and slotted home a great shot to put Corban uo 1-0 in the 60th minute.

With under five minutes to play, Gosvener took a nice pass from Emily Hillestad(Pictured) and scored in the 86th minute to tie the game at 1-1 and force overtime.

Gosvener then ended the game with the "Golden Goal" in the 99th minute as she took a long ball, beat a defender and then scored past the Warriors Keeper for the game winner.

Head Coach Brandon Porter on his team's big win, "The team put together another gutsy performance against a quality Corban team. This group continues to be a very fun team to coach as they work extremely hard for each other and trust each other. Cassidy had two fantastic finishes and the back line once again put together a stingy performance. I am very proud of the team's effort, and we are looking forward to trying to get another three points at NCU tomorrow."

Corban had an 18-11 advantage in shots and a slight edge 9-8 in shots on goal for the game.

Gosvener and Hillestad led the Owls with 4-shots each.

Oregon Tech improves to 2-1 in CCC play and 4-4 on the season with the win and will travel to Northwest Christian in Eugene, Ore. Saturday at 4:30 PM.
