The 2019-20 Winter Weather Alerts are brought to you by Ace Towing.

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 10:00 PM this evening to 1:00 PM Thursday.

Snow is expected to impact the Cascade mountains, especially Wednesday evening into Thursday. Snow levels will start out around 4500 feet and gradually rise into Thursday. Snow will accumulate 6-12 inches with some higher amounts at the rim at Crater lake.

Additional snow is expected Thursday night through Saturday morning. Over 84 hours through Saturday morning, we could see 1.5 to 2 feet of snow at elevations above 6500 feet.

If you plan on traveling Wednesday night into Thursday, be sure to carry an emergency travel kit with you. This travel kit should include: blankets, food, water, fully charged cell phone, chains, and any necessary medications.

Advisory

Wet snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 6 inches. Winds gusting as high as 25 mph in exposed areas.

Location
Klamath Basin and Northern and Eastern Klamath County and Western Lake County to include Highway 97 from Spring Creek north to Crescent.

From 10:00 PM Wednesday to 1:00 PM PST Thursday.
