BLY, Ore. – A 50 acre wildfire was reported noon today south of Bly by the Klamath Falls Resource Area, Lakeview District, Bureau of Land Management.

The Willow Springs fire is located about 20 miles south southeast of Bly, just east of Willow Spring. The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.

Fire crews, including a hand crew and three engine crews, have been assigned to control the fire by using roads and natural features in the area.

The Willow Springs fire is projected to be 100% contained on or about Wednesday.

Each fire can appear different visually depending on the forest type, fuel load and how long fire has been absent from the area. This includes wildfires and prescribed fires.
