US Representative Greg Walden will be holding a press conference on 10:30 AM, Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Klamath County Chamber of Commerce; to unveil a bill aimed at addressing power rates, key infrastructure improvements, water banking authorization and more. To benefit Klamath Basin agriculture, wildlife refuge and water resource efficiency.

WHAT: Press conference to introduce the Klamath Infrastructure Improvement Act that includes key provisions addressing key power, infrastructure and water issues affecting the Klamath Reclamation Project, off-Project water users, as well as wildlife refuges.

 WHY: The goal of this bill is to address inequities in power costs, infrastructure improvements, and improved resource efficiency that will benefit water users on and off-Project.
