Trouble with Facebook? You are not alone

The Facebook family of applications goes down around the world today, millions unable to share

If you are having trouble accessing any of the Facebook Family of applications (Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Whats App) you are not alone. Millions are experiencing issues due to a worldwide issue affecting the platforms.

The social networks began experiencing issues around 9:00 AM Pacific.

Facebook took to Twitter to communicate the outage. First reporting that they were aware of the issue and that they are working to resolve the problem. 90-minutes later Facebook updated their Twitter account again stating it was not a DDoS attack.

We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.

Website DownDetector.com monitors websites and shows where Facebook is currently having trouble. Sections of the United States, Mexico, South America and Europe are effected by the outage.
