Triad School Celebrates 13 Graduating Students

Triad High School held its 20th annual commencement ceremony on June 9th, 2018 at 3:00 pm.  13 students graduated from Triad on Saturday. Graduates included Blake Bay, Bennett Brown, Elijah Builta, Pete Drost, Daniel Eberhart, Isaac Franklin, Sarah McCuiston, William Mitchell, Kira Powless, Kylie Root, Shelby Wilson, Jesse Wolff and Gerald Yang. 

Valedictorians included Elijah Builta, Pete Drost, Isaac Franklin and Sarah McCuiston.  Salutatorian was Kylie Root. 

Invited speaker for the Class of 2018 was teacher Colonel Curtis Waite who teaches Science and Social Studies at Triad.  He addressed each student, commending their strengths and provided a verse from Proverbs for each graduate. 

While at Triad these graduates were involved in Sports, Student Council, Music, Key Club and National Honor Society.  This class made an incredible impact on our school and we are grateful for their leadership. 

After graduation, these students will go onto Purdue, OIT, the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Southern Oregon University, Washington State University, University of Alaska, Anchorage, Chemeketa Community College and the University of Washington. 

These 13 graduates received over $300,000 in scholarship money.  In addition, students earned an average of 50 college dual credits from Klamath Community College and the Oregon Institute of Technology.

Their class verse is I keep my eyes always on the Lord.  With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken.  Psalm 16:8.
