KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – A senior in Renewable Energy Engineering at Oregon Institute of Technology’s Portland-Metro campus in Wilsonville, Scott Morris is interested in things that will stand the test of time. For his senior capstone project, he wanted to take his love of the old-time survivor, a 1979 Datsun 620 pickup, and combine it with his passion for renewables by converting the pickup into an electric vehicle (EV).
