Sky Lakes hosts special COVID-19 vaccination clinic

The following is a press release from Sky Lakes Medical Center.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Sky Lakes Medical Center will provide Klamath County residents 65 and older no-charge COVID-19 vaccinations 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Wednesday, March 3, on the fourth floor in the original medical center.

The first-dose vaccinations are by appointment only and can be scheduled by calling 1-833-606-4370; no walk-in slots or on-site appointments are available. The call center is open 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM weekdays.

Once you have an appointment, you are assured of having a dose reserved.

Individuals who are 65 and older became eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations on Sunday, according to the Oregon Health Authority’s phased distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.

Vaccination of anyone in any of the currently eligible groups depends entirely on the limited number of doses allocated to Sky Lakes.
