Ski Report for January 11, 2019

Snow has been good for area ski resorts this season. Warner Canyon, Mt Ashland, Mt Bachelor, Mt Shasta and Willamette Pass are all open and are running 85% of their available lifts with an average of 36 inches of snow. Mt Bachelor is leading the with a base of 68 inches of snow. No area parks report fresh snow in the last 24 hours.

According to their Facebook Page, Cedar Pass Ski Area near Alturas, California is reported to open for the season Saturday, January 12, 2018. Current Conditions were not available.

  • Warner Canon Ski area near Lakeview is open for the first time in two seasons. Current conditions include all lifts open, 18” of snow at the summit.

  • Mt Ashland is open today and will be open for twilight skiing. All five lifts are operational with 45 inches of snow.

  • Mt. Bachelor is open today running 9 of 11 lifts on a 68 inch base of snow.

  • Mt Shasta is open with 3 of 4 their lifts operational on a 24 inch base.

  • Willamette Pass Ski Area has a base of 25 inches and is running 4 of 5 lifts today.
