KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The South Central Oregon Economic Development District in collaboration with Business Oregon, Klamath County, Lake County, and the City of Klamath Falls have grant money available to businesses that have been forced to close or have experienced a 50% decline in sales due to COVID-19.

The program is targeted at proprietors who have 1 to 25 employees (including themselves) and have not been able to secure financial assistance from the CARES Act through the PPP or EIDL programs.

To participate in the Emergency Business Assistance your business must have been impacted by the Economic Disaster in one of these ways:

  • Business interruption - reduced sales due to the disaster

  • Temporary Closure as a result of Executive Order 20-12

Grants start at $2500 and are for those businesses that have not been able to access PPP of EIDL monies.

Applications can be found at www.scoedd.org. The deadline for the application is August 26, 2020.
