Running Y to host 5th Annual Halloween Spooktacular

The Running Y Ranch Resort will be hosting the 5th Annual Running Y Halloween Spooktacular with the theme of Blast from the Past. All are invited to attend the event which will be held at the resort’s convention center on October 31st, 2019, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

This year’s activities will consist of games for kids, a costume contest, and a cakewalk. There will also be trunk or treating set up outside the convention center as well as a trick or treat trail around the property. This fun-filled night is a safe way for families to celebrate Halloween and will benefit the Mazama Sparrow Club and the Klamath Lake Counties Food Bank.

Entrance into the event is suggested at $2 per person or 3 cans of non-perishable food items.

This year there will be approximately 10 booths represented by Running Y Ranch Resort, Discover Klamath, Kingsley Field, Fastbreak, KCEDA, First Interstate Bank and more. Each booth will offer an activity along with candy. Games will include golfing, bean bag toss, bowling and more. Other activities include coloring, face painting, and a cakewalk with cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.

About Mazama Sparrow Club:
Each year, Mazama High School takes on a local Sparrow (a child under the age of 17) to raise money and assist with their medical expenses. The school club dedicated to leading the fundraising for the Sparrow meets multiple times a month to plan upcoming fundraisers and activities throughout the year.

About Klamath Lake Counties Food Bank:
The Klamath-Lake Counties Food Bank has been serving the Klamath Falls community for over 33 years and exists to address hunger by providing food to emergency food assistance programs. The Klamath Lake Counties Food Bank also supports other non-profits in Klamath and Lake Counties.
