PORTLAND, Ore. — Pacific Power’s Blue Sky program is accepting funding applications for renewable energy projects through Aug. 17, 2018.

The program, funded by more than 60,000 Blue Sky customers, is available to help cover the cost of installing renewable energy systems for non-residential, community-serving organizations within the Pacific Power service area. Those systems include solar, wind, geothermal and other forms of renewable energy.

Blue Sky provides an easy and convenient way for customers to support the development of renewable energy resources in the western United States, starting for as little as $1.95 per month.

Since 2006, the Blue Sky program has assisted 105 renewable energy projects across California, Oregon and Washington go live.

You can view a full list of community projects that have received funding regionally, statewide and close to home.

Applicants must submit a completed application form along with supporting materials by 5 p.m. on Aug. 17, 2018. Successful applicants will be notified by February 2019. Learn more on Pacific Power’s Blue Sky website or contact the program management with any questions at bluesky@pacificorp.com.

In addition to funding from the Pacific Power Blue Sky grant, applicants may also be eligible to receive Energy Trust of Oregon cash incentives for qualifying solar projects.
