Keno, Brixner, Chiloquin gym floors feature new finishes, repainted logos, court designs

Keno Elementary School is one of three schools in the Klamath County School District this year sporting a refinished gymnasium floor, including a freshly painted school logo.

Floors were refinished at Keno, Brixner Junior High School and Chiloquin Junior-Senior High School. The work was completed by Dominate The Hardwood, a company that has worked on various gymnasium floors for the district over the past seven years.

The process includes sanding the floor and removing existing paint and sealer. The wood is then treated, the floor is repainted with new court designs, including a new center basketball court logo, and then has a final seal applied. The process takes about two weeks.

Previously, the company has done work on gym floors at Lost River, Henley and Mazama.
