FIRE WEATHER WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY EVENING FOR STRONG GUSTY WIND WITH LOW RH FOR EASTERN FIRE WEATHER ZONE 624 AND SOUTHERN FIRE WEATHER ZONE 625

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Fire Weather Watch which is in effect from Saturday afternoon through Saturday evening.

Impacts:

Strong, gusty wind with low relative humidity and high fire danger will likely contribute to a significant spread of new and existing fires. Very dry and unstable conditions will support significant fire growth. Plume domination is possible with locally-generated erratic and gusty winds. Spotting could be problematic.
