Klamath Falls, Ore. – The Oregon Hustlin' Owls move to 4-1 in CCC play after a night of hot shooting over the Multnomah Lions, now 1-3 (CCC). The Owls picked up the win by a score of 115 to 101 on Danny Miles Court.

The game started with good back and forth play over the first 10 minutes, with the score remaining close or tied, before the Owls began to hit from downtown. Sinking 8 of 9 (89%) 3-point attempts in the first half would see Tech begin to stretch their lead. Over a 6:00 minute period, the Owls went on a 28-9 run, before the Lions could slow them down. The home team entered the half with the score 60-41.

The second half of play saw the Lions work to try and climb back in the game, but the Owls continued to stay strong on the offensive end. As the game wore on, the Lions began to get hot on the offensive end. In the final 9:00 minutes of the game, Multnomah went on a run of their own, outscoring the Owls 17-8 and cutting the lead to 12 points, and both teams looking to push their scores into triple digits.

Despite the late push by MU, the final few minutes of the contest had Tech close out the game on a strong note, maintaining a double-digit lead and taking the win with a score of 115 to 101.

On the night, Multnomah was led by Trey Fountain with 26 points and Darius Redrick with 22 points.

The Owls saw five players in double-digit scoring with freshman Harrison Steiger putting up a career-high 22 points, while Seth Erickson also had 22 points. Following behind was Tyler Hieb with 18 points and Garret Albrecht with 13 points. Another notable performance was Scotty Burge with 10 assists on the evening.

The Hustlin' Owls will back in action on Saturday evening at 7:30pm, as they take on Warner Pacific College on Danny Miles Court.
