KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Oregon Tech Head Women's Basketball Coach Scott Meredithannounced today the signing of Kylie Meadows, a 5-10 post player from Mountain Home, Idaho.

A team captain for 3 seasons, Meadows is the first and only player to surpass the 1000-point mark for points scored in a career in Mountain Home girls' basketball history. As a junior, Meadows was voted team MVP, earned first-team Southern Idaho Conference (SIC) and was selected to the Idaho 4A All-State second team.

As a senior this past season, Meadows was chosen the Player of the Year in the SIC and was selected to the 4A Idaho All-State 2nd team for the second year in a row. She was once again voted Mountain Home team MVP and to the SIC all-conference first-team. In addition, she played in the Idaho All-State game a few weeks ago.

"Kylie is a hard working player," stated Coach Meredith. "She has moves with both hands and can finish around the basket. She can also step outside and hit shots from the perimeter. She is strong and plays a physical style that will add a dimension of toughness to our roster. She spends a lot of time in the gym working on her game and we already know she will be a tremendous teammate.  She had an outstanding high school career at Mountain Home and we are really looking forward to her arrival at Tech."

Meadows is the daughter of Kristie and Ted Meadows of Mountain Home, Idaho and will major in Biology/Health Sciences at Oregon Tech with the career goal of becoming a pharmacist.
