Merkley Holds Town Hall in Klamath Falls (LIVE)

Klamath Falls, Ore. - Nearly 200 people attended a town hall hosted by US Senator Jeff Merkely (D-Ore.) today at Oregon Tech. Merkley fielded questions from the audience ranging from the Jordan Cove Pipeline, water issues, Social Security and restricted access to public lands, among others. 

When asked about how he feels the town hall went, Merkley replied; "We had a wonderful turnout from the community and people are very engaged. It is so important in our democratic republic, if we are going to be able to turn things around and have a government by and for the people we gotta have citizens that are deeply engaged."
