Klamath Falls, Ore. – Described by critics as “sensational,” “bewitching” and “models of vibrancy and control”. Lincoln Trio takes to the Ross Ragland stage Sunday February 11 at 4PM. As part of the Ross Ragland Classical Series, the Trio will teach a master class at 1:30PM in the Ross Ragland Cultural Center. A free pre-concert lecture for the public begins at 3PM.

The celebrated Grammy-nominated, Chicago-based Lincoln Trio—made up of Desirée Ruhstrat, violin, David Cunliffe, cello, and Marta Aznavoorian, piano—takes its name from their home, the heartland of the United States, the land of Lincoln. Formed in 2003, the Trio has been praised for its polished presentations of well-known chamber works and its ability to forge new paths with contemporary repertoire.  The Lincoln Trio is the perfect ensemble for sophisticated music lovers, young admirers of contemporary programs or students discovering chamber music for the first time.

“This amazing trio has excellent musicianship with a quality that will inspire audiences,” said Ragland Executive Director Mark McCrary “one of the best in the country”

Tickets for the event range from $15-$24 before transaction fees.  Student, Senior and Military discounts available.  Additionally rush tickets are available for KCC and Oregon Tech students.

The 2017-18 performance season is sponsored by KLAD, Big 98.5, Sunny 107, The Eagle, Forward Vision Media, Herald and News, Oregon Arts Commission and the National Endowment of the Arts. This show is sponsored by Kroger, Art Works and WESTAF
