KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - Haley Janky, a standout for the past two years at Rogue Community College, has committed to the Hustlin' Owls Women's Soccer team and will join the roster as a junior transfer in the fall.

In her two seasons with the Ospreys, Janky was a dynamic offensive player, scoring 7 goals and handing out 3 assists in 2017 on her way to a NWAC All Region as well as an All Star selection.  She started every match as a sophomore captain and will graduate this spring from Rogue with her associates degree.

"Haley is a player that we think can come in right away and bring another dynamic dimension to our attack," Oregon Tech Head Coach Brandon Porter said about Janky. "We had always noticed her athleticism and skill and believe that she will fit seamlessly into a lineup that continues to get stronger, deeper, and more mature.  We want to try and put a great deal of pressure on our opponents' backlines and to do so we need aggressive, creative, and pacy attackers.  We are making a point to try and identify and retain the best local talent in the Southern Oregon region, and we feel we found a great one in Haley."

A local Rogue Valley standout originally from Medford, Janky earned all-conference honors as an attacker at North Medford High School.  She is the daughter of Greg and Nicole Janky and plans on majoring in Medical Imaging at Oregon Tech.
