Lady Owls Fly Past Eagles

KIRKLAND, Wash. - Bailey Nelson and Amanda Constant had 13-points each leading Oregon Tech (8-6, 1-3 CCC) to its first Cascade Conference win of the year 73-52 over Northwest University Saturday night at the Eagles Nest.

The Oregon Tech bench out-scored the Northwest bench 38-to-7.

Tech led 21-9 at the end of the first quarter, stretched its lead to 15 with 8-minutes to play in the second quarter and never looked back winning 73-52.

Nohea Waiwaiole nearly had a triple-double with 10-points, 7-rebounds, and 6-assists for the Owls in 32-minutes.

Tech shot 46% from long range in the 2nd half making 6-of-13, ending the game 10-of-28.

The Owls return home for a five game home-stand starting Friday, December 29 when they host Multnomah University to kick-off K-12 Family weekend. All students kindergarten through 12th grade will be admitted free all weekend.
