KWUA To host Klamath Project operations meeting Wednesday

The following is a submitted announcement.

The Klamath Water Users Association will be hosting a public information meeting about the Klamath Project's 2021 water supply and operations. The meeting will be held inside Linman Hall at the Klamath County Fairgrounds beginning at 10:00 AM, April 14, 2021.

The 2021 operations meeting agenda includes:

  1. Welcome and Introductions by KWUA President Ben DuVal

  2. Paul Simmons, KWUA Executive Director & Counsel

  3. 2021 Klamath Project Operations Plan and Drought Response Agency Contracting

  4. District Update on 2021 operations

  5. Klamath Project Drought Response Agency Update

  6. Groundwater and Drought Well Permitting

  7. Q & A

A sign-in sheet will be at the door to meet COVID requirements. The event will observe COVID social mandates. Once capacity is met, the meeting doors will close. Klamath Falls News will provide live streaming of the event on their Facebook Page.
