KWUA Offers Charter Bus to SF for Water Hearing

Charter Bus Offered to San Francisco for Hearing in the U.S. District Court of Northern California

Next week KWUA and many Klamath Reclamation Project patrons will gather in San Francisco to attend a hearing that will determine the fate of the Klamath Reclamation Project in 2018.

KWUA would like to invite patrons of the Klamath Project who are interested in attending the hearing to ride down on a charter bus from Klamath Falls to San Francisco and back.

The seats will be first come first serve with a total of 45 seats available. This charter is made possible by KWUA, Klamath County Farm Bureau, Woodhouse Farming & Seed Co., Pelican Charters and others. There is no cost to passengers, however donations are appreciated.

The bus will depart April 11th stopping for breakfast and scheduled to arrive at the courthouse by 1pm. After the hearing, the bus will depart San Francisco and arrive back in Klamath that evening. Brown bag lunch is encouraged.

If seats are available, there may be an opportunity to pick up passengers in Dunnigan, California who do not want to drive into the city. Please note that this is only based on availability, please call the office for details.
