Klamath Tribes announced a temporary closure of gaming operations at Kla-Mo-Ya Casino due to COVID-19 case

CHILOQUIN, Ore. - Today, the Klamath Tribes announced further action on COVID-19 readiness and precaution, and have closed the gaming operations at Kla-Mo-Ya Casino, 34333 US Highway 97, Chiloquin, Oregon, until Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at noon. Following a confirmed COIVID case at the casino.

A sanitation crew has mobilized and will begin cleaning immediately in order to meet the scheduled re-opening date.

During the past several months, the Klamath Tribes have taken extra steps and have closed other facilities periodically to protect the health and safety of tribal members and the public.

The Klamath Tribal Council remains diligent and will continue to be proactively working with our Emergency Management Team and will do everything necessary to protect the community while still continuing to provide services to our tribal members.

The Klamath Tribes asks the public to please continue to follow all COVID-19 safety precautions that are set in place by limiting your attendance at any gathering larger than 10 people, wear face coverings over your nose and mouth, stay at least six feet away from others, and wash or sanitize your hands.

Monitor yourself for any COVID-19 symptoms: Fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting and/or diarrhea.
