CHILOQUIN, Ore. - On Thursday, the Klamath Tribal Health 6th Street building at 3949 S 6th Street, in Klamath Falls, has been closed by the Klamath Tribes following our COVID-19 pandemic response protocol following a COVID-19 case at the facility.

A sanitation crew is mobilizing now and will begin cleaning immediately to meet the re-opening date of 10/9/2020.

During the past several months, the Klamath Tribes have taken extra steps and have closed other facilities periodically to protect the health and safety of tribal members and the public. Including temporary closures at KlaMoYa Casino on October 6, Tribal Administrative Offices on September 16, and two separate instances at the Crater Lake Travel Center - one on September 7 and the other October 6.

“The Klamath Tribal Council remains diligent and will continue to be proactively working with our Emergency Management Team and will do everything necessary to protect the community while continuing to provide services to our tribal members,” said the Klamath Tribes in a written statement.
