The warm breezy air was filled with love, laughter and music as thousands came out to celebrate one of the Klamath Falls’ best summer traditions, Third Thursday.

Main Street closes at five o’clock so that food vendors, informational booths, youth groups, non-profits, arts & craft retailers, and more can take over Main Street between 4th and 11th streets for the summer only event.

Local shops and eateries such as the Daily Bagel and Everybody’s Vintage remained open later than normal and offered specials to the downtown guests.

Music was performed at two ends of the event. At Sugarman’s Corner Michael Quinn and Cherry Wine entertained guests with their unique sound. On the other end at 9th Street, the Black Cadillac Kings rocked in front of the historic Oregon Bank Building.

This was the second of three planned monthly Third Thursday events of the summer. Mark your calendar, as the next, and last chance to attend a 2019 Third Thursday, will be August 15 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
