Tonya McKeen Named 2019 Home Care Nurse of the Year
Ms. Tonya McKeen, a Registered Nurse employed with Sky Lakes Home Health in Klamath Falls, Oregon is being recognized for her exemplary direct patient care services in home care. Her colleague Kris Drake nominated her for this prestigious award. "Tonya is a real go getter. She works extremely hard for her patients, no matter how hard or how easy their care is. Tonya was presented with her award at the Oregon Association for Home Care's annual conference, April 19th, 2019 at the Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond, Oregon during a special recognition awards ceremony.
The Oregon Association for Home Care is a trade organization representing providers of skilled home health, hospice and in-home care services throughout the state of Oregon. Each year the Association recognizes outstanding leaders in the home care industry.

Laurel Wolf, 2019 Home Care Therapist of the Year
Ms. Laurel Wolf, a Physical Therapist employed with Sky Lakes Home Health in Klamath Falls, Oregon is being recognized for her amazing gift in her care of patients in the home care setting.
Laurel's colleague Kirk Knaggs nominated her for this prestigious award. "Laurel has a depth of knowledge with all rehab and HH services. She is very efficient and effective and always able to identify the patient needs quickly.
She has a holistic approach to caring for her patients. She works with patients in difficult circumstances and surroundings and is able to access the resources that they need. She effectively educates patients and caregivers and produces quality outcomes. She always giver her best, even when it may look hopeless to someone else, and she is often able to get a patient way beyond their baseline. Laurel is a pillar in our agency. She is as reliable as she is relied on.”
