KCSO Warns of paving scam [UPDATED]

UPDATE: 4:45 PM, 11/17/2020

On November 10, 2020, Detectives from the Klamath County Sheriffs Office received a tip that, Shanadoa Wayne Johnson was staying at a hotel in Cowlitz County, Washington.

This information was immediately forwarded to the Cowlitz County Sheriff’s Office and Shanadoa Wayne Johnson was arrested and is being lodged at the Cowlitz County Jail on no bail warrants pending extradition for crimes committed in California, Nevada and Oregon.


KLAMATH COUNTY, Ore. - Klamath County residents should beware of an alleged scam “contractor” believed to be operating in the area.

Shanadoa Wayne Johnson, who also goes by Shaun, is thought to be operating in the area and targeting vulnerable citizens with driveway paving and/or sealing work.

Recent information confirms he was in Northern California and may now have moved into our area.

Johnson is believed to use multiple alias’ and is wanted on several outstanding warrants. Anyone who comes in contact with him is urged to contact Klamath County Sheriff’s Office at 541-883-5130.
