KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - This morning [2/2/2021] Klamath County Public Health (KCPH) provided vaccine doses to several clinics in Klamath County. These doses are intended to be offered to citizens of the county who are 80 years old or older.

Klamath Open Door Family Practice will contact its patients directly who are 80 or older for vaccine appointments.

Those 80 and older may schedule with Sky Lakes Medical Center by calling 1-833-606-4370. Those in their 80s may also schedule at the Merrill Clinic by calling (541) 798-5073, or at the Bonanza Clinic by calling (541) 545-1820.

Doses are limited. Not everyone who wants a vaccine will receive one immediately. KCPH asks for continued to be patients.

Vaccine eligibility for the 80+ population formally begins Feb. 8, with the 75+ population following on Feb. 15. There are 5,000 people in Klamath County aged 75 and older. It will take several weeks to complete this group.

Those who are part of Phases 1-A and 1-B, group 1, may continue to schedule the first dose.
