KLAMATH FALLS – Klamath Community College invites you to attend a summer registration and 15 to Finish kick-off event May 7.

The event is for students and community members of all ages. Attendees can scale a climbing wall, romp around in a bounce house, enjoy food, and other fun and educational activities on campus between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Student success representatives will be on hand to register students all day, 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Event attendees will also have an opportunity to learn about KCC’s new 15 to Finish program aimed at helping students complete degree programs on time.

“The college’s new 15 to Finish program will pay for three lecture credits for students who take 15 credits or more per term,” said Julie Murray-Jensen, KCC vice president of enrollment and external affairs. “We encourage students who are already taking 12 credits to consider boosting their enrollment to 15 credits to take advantage of this unique opportunity.”

Fifteen to Finish is designed to keep students on track to finish degrees and certificates on time and to save money on college-related expenses. The program does not cover course fees.

Students who graduate on time will accrue less debt and enter the workforce faster, according to Murray-Jensen.

“KCC’s programs are designed to prepare graduates for professional careers, so the sooner students finish, the sooner they can begin earning a valuable paycheck,” she said.
