Hustlin’ Owls Knock-Off No. 21 Eastern Oregon Secure Home Playoff Game

LA GRANDE, Ore. -  Oregon Tech (20-9, 13-6 CCC) secured a first round home playoff game next Wednesday when they defeated No. 21 Eastern Oregon (20-7, 12-7 CCC) 92-77 Friday night at the Quinn Coliseum.
 
Tech came out on fire and built a 21 point lead with five left in the first half.
 
EOU cut the Owl lead to seven point's mid-way through the second half before Tech went on another run to solidify the win.
 
Andrew Weber had another career night with 21-points while Mitchell Fink added 19-points, 6-assists, two steals and a blocked shot. Jalen Carvalho and Seth Ericksonchipped in 13 and 10 points respectively in the upset win.
 
Max McCullough had a game high 29-points for EOU.
 
Tech plays Conference Champion and Nationally ranked No.4 College of Idaho Saturday evening in Caldwell, Idaho at 6:30 pm. Following that game the Owls will learn who their opponent will be for Wednesday night's CCC Quarterfinal playoff game at Danny Miles Court.
 
Tickets for Wednesday's game will be available Monday morning in the Athletics office at 8:00 am. Season Reserved ticket holders will have until 7:00 pm Tuesday to secure their seats before all remaining reserved seats are made available to the public at 8:00 am Wednesday morning. Ticket prices are $6 reserved seats, $5 general seats, $2 Students.
