A manufactured home in the Plaza Manor, 2425 Summers Lane, was burned today after a fire broke out inside the residence. Multiple engines responded to the initial call that came in before 10:00 AM. No injuries have been reported due to the fire.

“Everyone was able to get out of the home safely, and neighboring structures including an adjacent RV were undamaged,” said Erick Bishop, Battalion Chief for Klamath County Fire District 1.

Investigators from the Oregon State Fire Marshals office have joined the Fire Marshal from Fire District 1 to conduct an investigation on the structure. Deputies from the Klamath County Sheriff’s Office were also seen talking with someone near the fire.

“The cause of the fire is unknown at this time,” said Bishop.

Klamath Falls News will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
