County to Host Open House on Old Fort Rd Project

Klamath County will host an informational open house on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. to discuss the Old Fort Road Reconstruction project. The forum will be held in the Board of Commissioners hearing room at the Klamath County Government Center, 305 Main Street Room 219. The County’s consultant engineer and Klamath County Public works will be available to take comments and answer questions.

There will be a brief presentation of options studied then attendees will break into groups to gather feedback and answer questions. If questions arise that require additional research, that information will be gathered and a response given at a later time. All comments will be documented and included in an information packet provided to the Board of Commissioners so they can make a decision on how best to proceed. The Board may choose to implement one of the outlined options depending on many variables including safety, available funding, other road network priorities etc.
