The following is a press release from Cascade Comprehensive Care.

KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. - The sixth annual Community Baby Shower keeps growing in popularity each year, serving more families in Klamath County than ever. Over 300 people came last Saturday to Klamath Community College where the event was held. Local health partners who serve childrenand families in Klamath County came to support the community. They gave away gifts and food to new and expecting parents. Attendees received information on nutrition, health coverage, housing, and parenting classes.

Rhonda Janecke, RN Maternity Case Manager at Cascade Health Alliance had this to say:

“This year 26 community partners came together to put on the Baby Shower. We gave away 70 raffle gifts of Pack N Plays, Infant Car Seats, Strollers, Highchairs, and Gliding Rockers. By providing information and gifts, we were able to educate and support pregnant families in the basin. We are all looking forward to next year’s shower.”
