From a press release

The Oregon Wing of the Civil Air Patrol held their Non-Commission Officers School and Airman Basic Class for cadets (ages 12-18) in Klamath Falls last weekend.

The event was hosted by our own Klamath Falls Composite Squadron and held at the Kingsley National Air Guard Base.

Participants came from various areas of Oregon including High Desert, Medford, Aurora, Washington County and Grants Pass to attend this rewarding event.

Klamath Falls Commander, Captain Cliff Warrick, took the cadets on a personal and informative tour of the F-15D jet located nearby. Also the 173rd Security Forces provided Senior Member Van Horne and Sergeant Headley the time to come speak to our cadets and answer their questions on various subjects.

This successful event was hosted for the first at our own military base which made a great impact on the cadets in attendance.

We sincerely thank the Kingsley National Air Guard for being such welcoming hosts and permitting this activity at their facility for our future leaders!
