The 8th annual event kicks off at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, and will feast until 10:00 PM and is part of Klamath Freedom Days.

This is a family-friendly event and will have activities for attendees of all ages. Children under 12 are free and teens aged 13-20 are just five bucks.

“It’s time to get back to what works, time to get back to having enthusiastic fun,” said Doug Brown president of the Klamath Freedom Celebration.

The Pikey and Pourhouse will be serving up the BBQ, while additional food trucks offer their delicacies to expand food options.

In addition to the food and drink, many vendors will be set up offering various swag for purchase. Klamath Freedom will have t-shirts for sale to commemorate the event.

Brown and his loving wife Chris generated the idea of bringing a Brew & Q to Klamath Falls as a means of community entertainment back in 2015. “On that particular day, there were no other Brew & Q’s in Oregon. That is why I chose that particular day,” stated Brown.

Headlining Entertainment
Traveling from Southern California the entertainment will be the Hall of Fame Guitarist Bobby Messano. Messano is a legendary artist, particularly in contemporary blues. He has over 9 solo albums and has been heard on MTV as well as Sirius XM.

The Klamath Basin Brew & Q is brought to you by the Klamath Freedom Celebration and Presented by Pacific Crest Federal Credit Union. A portion of the proceeds for the event will be staying with Steen Sports Park. Brown and the Klamath Freedom Celebration crew work tirelessly to bring summer joy and fun to the basin.

Saturday will mark the first Brew & Q to be open and mask-free since COVID.
