ROCKLIN, Calif. --  William Jessup's Lady warriors kept Oregon tech off balance from the opening tip on the way to a 69-58 victory Friday night in Day 1 on the Bill Holtz Classic at William Jessup University.

Four players scored in double-figures for the Warriors, led by senior Ashlyn Jones with 17 points. Tech's Nohea Waiwaiole led all scorers in the game with 18-points in the loss with freshman Abby Kreiser added 11-points for the Owls.

Tech came-back strong from 19-points down with 3:43 left in the 3rd period to whittle the margin to just six points in the fourth stanza by forcing 25 WJU turnovers however a missed lay in by Tech that would have cut the lead to just four points but the miss instead led to a quick five-zero run for the Warriors who won going away 69-58.

The Lady Owls will next play Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm against Bethesda University before returning home for their home opener on Saturday, November 11 against UC Merced at 6:00 pm at Danny Miles Court.
