KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. – Oregon Tech rolled past Walla Walla University Friday afternoon in four sets 3-1 (25-17, 25-14, 19-25, 25-9) in Cascade Conference action at Danny Miles Court. Tech improves to 7-11 on the year and 5-8 in CCC play, Walla Walla falls to 0-13 in Conference and 1-17 overall with today's result.
 
Tech was led by Chase Bohman with 18 kills and Bailey Nelson with 10 kills.
 
The first started very close with OIT finally taking a 12-8. After Walla Walla made 12-10 the Hooter went on a 7-1 run taking a 19-11 lead before finally winning the set 25-17.
 
Tech jumped out to a 12-4 lead in the 2nd set and never looked back winning 25-14.
 
Set three belonged to the Wolves as they bounced back with a nice 25-19 win.
 
Tech answered, putting the match away as they won the fourth set 25-9 to win the match 3-1.
 
The Owls had a very good .271 kill percentage on the night with Wolves at .113%.
 
Jaime Toedtemeier had a game high 40 assists to lead OIT.
 
Lauren Barlow had 10 kills with Lauren Bosler adding 21 assists to lead Walla Walla on the night.
 
Oregon Tech will next host Southern Oregon University Wednesday, October 18 at 7:00 pm at Danny Miles Court.
