LIVE: Free Hazardous Household Waste Collection at Kiger

Happening today in the parking lot of Kiger Stadium is a FREE hazardous waste collection event for household chemicals. This collection event is open to everyone and allows households to bring - pesticides, mercury, fluorescent lights, paints, solvents, motor oil, fuels, antifreeze, and so much more to be dropped off at no charge.

There are a few items they are not accepting at this event including - radioactive waste (smoke detectors), ammunition, explosives or sharps (needles, razors, etc).

Organizers do ask to bring items in the original containers when possible and do not mix your items before bringing them in.
