Ski Report for March 8, 2019

Ski Season keeps looking better. Many of the area resorts are experiencing the highest snow depths in years. Several including Mt Ashland has already announced that the ski season will continue into April. Check out the latest conditions from Mt Ashland, Mt Bachelor and Mt Shasta below.

Mt Ashland

Friday Fun - Let it Snow

Mt Ashland received a trace of new snow overnight and there are still some light snow flurries hanging around this morning.  The weather forecast is expecting the skies to clear up later this morning and give you some sunny skies with calm winds.  Should be a beautiful day!

TONIGHT from 3-9pm they will be hosting the third and final night of our Midwinter Jam Series! We will have live music by the by Eric Leadbetter in the lodge, a terrain park competition, giveaways, games and drink specials from our friends at Sierra Nevada, and of course twilight skiing under the lights.

Mt. Bachelor

The clouds have returned and so have the snow showers! Friday’s forecast is expecting snow showers continuing throughout the afternoon and into the evening. Moderate winds will stick around for the afternoon with temperatures staying in the 20s. Get an early start to your weekend with some laps in the new snow up at Mt. Bachelor!

Remember that tree well risk is still high with deep, unconsolidated snow remaining in the trees. Ski/ride with a partner in eyesight and educate yourself about deep snow safety.

Mt Shasta

Tubing center is open today with twilight skiing until 7:00 PM. Live music at Sliders with Soundfarm Band form 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM tonight.
